Pressure is mounting on Australia's governor-general to quit amid plans for a no-confidence vote and new claims over the hushing-up of sex abuse by clergy.
Governor-General Peter Hollingworth, the former Archbishop of Brisbane, has refused to resign after an inquiry found he had allowed a known paedophile to continue working as a priest.
