90 More Claims Filed Against Portland Archdiocese

Portland, Oregon --

At least 90 more people have come forward with claims against the bankrupt Portland archdiocese of the Roman Catholic Church.

The names of the individuals are being withheld, as are details of the claims. But the new claimants are seeking more than 70 (m) million dollars, pushing the total claims to about half a (b) billion.

Most are presumed to have been victims of sexual abuse by priests.
