CHILD SEX RAP PRIEST WALKS FREE

A PRIEST walked free from court yesterday after sex abuse charges against him were thrown out.
Father James Duddy, 54, had been accused of lewd and libidinous behaviour towards two 10-year-old girls.
He was due to face his accusers at Hamilton Sheriff Court but the case was ditched after one of his accusers failed to appear.
Sheriff Shona Waldron ignored crown pleas for the case to be adjourned temporarily and told Duddy he was free to go.
Peter Kearney, spokesman for the Catholic Church in Scotland, said: 'Father Duddy remains on administrative leave. His situation will now be reviewed.'

He was the priest at sacred heart parish when I attended sacred heart primary. He made my skin crawl. I told my parents one day about confession I attended, making me sit on his knee while he rubbed his head in my hair and cuddled me and rocked back and forth. I was out the door like a shot. He refused to let me make my confirmation after that then was suddenly moved to another position in Germany. Disgusting peadophile!! I couldn't believe how he was allowed to walk round the school whenever he pleaded and sit next to all the little girls at lunch time.
Jim Duddy sexually aboard my two daughters and was jailed for a year in 2008 so WHY was he still a priest??? Another huge cover up again by the Catholic Church in Scotland. WHEN will the church face up to all the abuse that goes on by the clergy ???
Countless students left Drygrange and the junior seminary because of O’Briens sexual abuse yet no punishment for him he retired to a Church owned cottage in the borders!!! Is it any wonder the Church attendance numbers have dropped when the Catholic Church refuse to admit to any wrongdoing of their clergy???
So so true and it’s gone on for years and still the church refuses to go public and expose the evil paedophiles so it carried on loosing more and more faithful church members every week!
So so many vocations been lost over the years because of clergy abuse, the reason for such shortage of priests now!
