Former Hong Kong priest convicted of abuse
A former Roman Catholic priest has been convicted of abusing a 15-year-old altar boy in Hong Kong in the early 1990s.
Michael Lau, 42, is being held in jail while he awaits sentencing on two counts of indecent assault, one of attempted sodomy and one of gross indecency.
Lau, who now works as an insurance agent, is the first person associated with the Catholic clergy in the territory to face charges of abusing a teenager in his care.
