PRIEST, 40, JAILED FOR BOY ABUSE

A FORMER Catholic priest has been jailed for six years for abusing three boys.
Fernando Lopez, 40, molested the boys over three years after his transfer to Los Angeles from Rome in 2001.
Judge Ruth Kwan said he had exploited his position to abuse them.
Police began investigating when one of the victims, then 17, told his brother the priest had molested him at a restaurant and in a church basement
